GeoMist Low Cost Electronic Atomizer.

Geomagnet is proud to announce the patent pending status of our GeoMist electronic atomizer.

The GeoMist operates in sonic and ultrasonic ranges with as little as 6 watts. Flow rates and droplet size are achieved by various factors such as frequency, transport line diameter, and transducer power.

Atomization of 0.25 liters/hour of water is achievable at 40Khz with 8 watts of power and 2 psi fluid pressure. One remarkable feature of the GeoMist is the ability to extend the atomizer assembly a reasonable distance from the piezoelectric transducer via a structural transport line. This line is a thin surgical stainless steel tube which is resistant to heat and most chemicals. Now, fuel atomization can occur inside a combustion chamber where heat would normally destroy the transducer. The compact low profile atomizer assembly can be inserted into an air intake manifold without disrupting the air flow.

The atomizer assembly can be made from various materials including stainless steel for high temperature applications or plastic for disposable purposes. The overall manufacturing cost is low due to the implementation of an inexpensive unimorphic piezo bender and total material weight of each unit.
